Advocating for your pet,
advocating for you.

Compassionate

Objective

We exist to make tough decisions simpler.

There is no single “right” answer or test you can take to make medical decisions for your pet. Your faithful friend is special and your circumstances are unique.

That’s why we believe every pet owner deserves a personalized approach when making these decisions.

Unfortunately, most veterinary offices can’t dedicate the time to address all your questions and guide you to a solution that feels right.

My Pet’s Advocate was created to fill this gap for pet owners, so you can get the education and advice you need to be your pet’s best advocate.

We help you go from
confused pet owner to confident advocate.

Meet Dr. Karen Randall, DVM

As an animal lover, veterinarian, and pet owner myself, I know both the joy and the heartache of a life blessed with pets.

Along with all the love, laughter, and warmth that our pets bring us, they also teach us how to make difficult decisions.

Over the past 30 years of working with pets and their loving families, I’ve learned that some decisions are never easy. But, I’ve also learned that when pet owners have clarity about their pet’s health and their options, making those difficult decisions becomes easier.

“We could celebrate Luna…

At vet offices, I’ve left feeling heartbroken, guilty, and like my pet was a clinical number, just a procedure to be handled.

Luna’s send-off felt completely the opposite. Dr. Randall helped make a situation that could have been absolutely debilitating into something beautiful. It really gave us an opportunity to feel like we could celebrate Luna, versus focusing on sadness.”
